"House Of Death Part1 Single Player Map" posted November 23 - 1:28AM EST by Mr.Damage
Way back in 2001 Sonik released one of the best ever single player mappack for Kingpin called House of Death part1.
This is how Sonik describes it:-
My first ever single player map pack!! Based in a haunted house, you will travel through the depths of it, and back to the surface. I added in some pretty interesting effects, like the flying sofa :). You also get to take a trip on a doomed runaway train! SEVEN levels of frightening fun!
There is a readme in the zip file with installation instuctions.
"Earlier Deadwood Maps" posted November 11 - 12:59AM EST by Mr.Damage
In light of Stigma releasing his -= Deadwood 3 =- map I thought it would be a good time to remind people about the first two maps in the Deadwood sries.
-=Deadwood=- This is a small to medium sized map set in a very nice looking town. Most of the action will take place in the street although you can access some of the awnings and one rooftop. There is a quite a lot of detail in the buildings in this map and several custom textures (including some high resolution ones) were used. There are ample weapons & other items (including 2 HMG's and two sets of armour), a custom sky and 14 player spawns.
-=Deawood 2=- This is also a smallish map with an urban street setting. Most of the action takes place in the street but you can also get up to the buildings' awnings and onto some roofs. Thre are lots of crates around the map and several trees and even some birds flying around in the sky! There are ample weapons & other items (including 2 HMG's and two cooling mods), a custom sky and 12 player spawns. There are also single player props, and rats for use with those mods that support them.
Update 5th NovemberThe small problem has been fixed and the new updated version is now available.
Stigma has now released his latest deathmatch map called -= Deadwood 3 =-. This is a medium sized DM map in an urban style set in the early evening. It's the third map in his Deadwood series. There are two main areas, a large central street and a smaller back street/plaza type area. These two areas are connected by a tunnel at one end and through a building at the other end. There are trees in the streets and lots of crates and boxes. The cooling mod is inside a safe in a room on the second floor. You can access the room by climbing up the drainpipe and running across the facade of the building. There are more than enough weapons and items, some single player props and rats and a custom sky. The map also includes a few custom textures.
Update 6th November I have added this map into rotation on the KP4Ever Detropolis server and the KP4Ever Kraze Bot Server.
"Evil Town Rev.3 Deathmatch Map" posted November 1 - 3:26AM EDT by Mr.Damage
This is another classic DM from the early days of Kingpin. This is a revision of the original Evil Town map which was done by Truzenzuzex[BC] back in 2000. It's a largish map with an urban setting. The action taken place in warehouses, on the street and on the rooftops. There are ample weapons and items and is a great example of an early KP custom map.
